FAQ
What defines an item as vintage?
Generally, items are considered vintage if they are 20 or more years old. At Pretty In Pink we stock both older vintage (think pre 90s) to more recent pre loved clothes from the early 2000s.
How do you determine the condition of items?
We do our best to select pieces that are in good condition; however, as with any vintage item, some general wear is to be expected. Please take the time to carefully review all available images to assess the overall condition.
Are the items authentic?
Any branded items will have photos of labels in the listing. If you require further evidence be sure to send us an email and we will do our best to help out.
How should I care for my vintage item?
Some vintage clothes need a little extra TLC. Always check what your piece is made of and follow the right care steps because that mystery fabric tag is there for a reason. If your item doesn’t have one (we’ve all been there), hand washing or using your machine’s delicate cycle with cool water is usually a safe bet.
Suede and wool are a bit more high-maintenance. Skip the wash and give them a good airing instead. You can also sprinkle a little bicarb soda nearby to help lift any musty smells. Think of it as a gentle detox for your jacket.
Do we take donations or give cash for clothes in our stores ?
